my name is marlena rivers...yeah, sounds like a fake name or porn star name, and it is a fake name. no i'm not a porn actress, but i had to create a name for this blog. because i'm not OUT at work about the bipolar thing... so some of this blog is about the dual identity thing... because it is a trip and i feel like a double agent, posing at work as a "normal" person and out to some friends and family... This blog used to focus on my relationship with my little doggie but he died in 2009. It also used to involve comic strips. I hope to bring that back sometime soon. Meanwhile I'll be focusing on the idea of "hiding" my bipolar disorder and what that is like for me, and if it has changed since having the "baby" who is not a baby any more!

dont worry abt old age.. my grandmom says thats the best part of life..most wouldnt agree though. she calls it strange and insists that old age is fun.. i have started believing her :)she seems to enjoy her time

hi everyone, thanks for the support. the indigestion was replaced by super headache which finally departed this morning. i am actually feeling good about aging as my birthday approaches (go aquarius!) any other aquarians out there by the way?
anyway i find that i am happier with myself as i get older, despite aches and pains. elvis is great at getting me outside and exercising as walking him is right now my main form of exercise!!!
I'm sorry about your indigestion - does your tummy feel better? I'm glad Elvis was there to keep you company...
I can sooo relate to your post, even with the pain. Except my animal is a guinea pig that "whees" all day long.
