my name is marlena rivers...yeah, sounds like a fake name or porn star name, and it is a fake name. no i'm not a porn actress, but i had to create a name for this blog. because i'm not OUT at work about the bipolar thing... so some of this blog is about the dual identity thing... because it is a trip and i feel like a double agent, posing at work as a "normal" person and out to some friends and family... This blog used to focus on my relationship with my little doggie but he died in 2009. It also used to involve comic strips. I hope to bring that back sometime soon. Meanwhile I'll be focusing on the idea of "hiding" my bipolar disorder and what that is like for me, and if it has changed since having the "baby" who is not a baby any more!

we have the name which we had figured out before we got pregnant. (we had a boy's name too.) it's a very pretty name.

it very much makes a different to see her again especially that detailed. all this time since the last sonogram it was hard to imagine her being there but now i have a good image in my head!!!
that is so neat that you can have the pics...I wasn't allowed and I only had one sonogram durning my 'fat months'

yes lash i thought of that! ("oh wow. my daughter is appearing on my blog and i wouldnt want the poor thing to read this blog until she's maybe 30 at the earliest!) at this point i figure if it's good for me and helps me, then it's good for her. she seems so happy in there, it was good to get these photos as i of course kept worrying that my moodswings and craziness were disturbing her but she seems to be protected from it and enjoying herself!
then i look at elvis and marvel at his positive and feisty sweet personality after dealing with my moods for all these years...
so what is the name???????????????
and i have my Peru pictures up if you want to see..
i feel ambivalent about revealing her name on my blog. we still have not told family members the name and it somehow seems like a violation of her privacy as it is a very uncommon name.
so for now i don't feel comfortable revealing it but thanks for the interest, sarah! i will check out your peru pictures!!!
